As we experience Thanksgiving Day, I want to share a quote by Harry Ironside, author of many books and Pastor of The Moody Church:
“We would worry less if we praised more. Thanksgiving is the enemy of discontent and dissatisfaction.” – Harry Ironside

There is a lot to be worried about in life but Pastor Ironside makes a great point. Praise God.
We all suffer from the danger of worrying too much. Some events in life raise worry to overwhelming levels but there’s hope in Christ to come alongside us in these times of worry (Col 1:12-14). Experience the power of Grace:
One of the most important lessons scripture has taught me was to learn the importance of two simple phrases: “heavenly Father” and “glory of God”.
It’s so interesting how profound those two ideas go in any culture – as I’ve been serving here in the ministry I’m sometimes surprised at how often I use those two phrases and define them according to scripture.
He is our Father and for His glory we live and we give Him thanksgiving.
