Walking through the door one morning I was interrupted by the staff at the home. A few of them wanted to talk to me, “uh oh!” I thought, “What could I have possibly done?” As I stood there surrounded by three of the main employees (including the manager) they immediately began to tell me about the things they have noticed since I arrived in April. “The kids are different”, they preceded to tell me, “since your dedicated mornings to the children began, there has been a big change in the way they behave. When they do things wrong, they apologize and ask for forgiveness. They have never done that before.”
Wow! I was completely amazed. Conducting bible studies twice a day you don’t always get to see the other ‘goings on’ and any fruit produced. But, God used this moment to confirm in my heart once again, why I am here. God has a purpose for our ministry here. We were called here for a very specific purpose- discipleship.
“There has been a big change.”
